A native San Diegan, Fred spent over two decades as a fundraiser and trusted philanthropic advisor at universities on the West Coast and in the Midwest. He is passionate about serving donors making meaningful and transformational gifts.

As a fundraiser in over $6 billion of successful, comprehensive campaigns, Fred has been involved in gifts and commitments of $50+ million and on teams raising over $700 million in support of specific projects and programs.

As a donor to various causes and organizations, he has sat on both sides of the table discussing priorities and the impact of giving, including endowing a need-based scholarship in honor of his late parents at his alma mater, the University of Michigan.

A husband and father of two sons, Fred believes empowering philanthropists and strengthening nonprofit organizations will impact the world and leave a lasting legacy.
